'One In A Million' is the new single fom Irish songstress ODi featuring Colm Mac Con Iomaire from The Frames / Swell Season on violin. Set for release in March 2011 through Littlest Mojo Music, the single is taken from ODi's debut album "Maslow's Songbook".
ODi started performing just three years ago and seems to be well recieved for someone new to the scene. Her voice is crisp and genuine and it is clear that her songs are written to highlight her beautiful vocals. But I like that the instrumental part seems thoughtful and well developed with the violin, piano, guitar, foot stomping and hand claps. ODi seems to offer a little bit more than your typical singer/songwriter which will make her stand out in this seemingly hit or miss genre. She has great potential to be a hit and I'm looking forward to hearing more.
Very well put Jessica, I couldn't agree more! I had ODi on my radio show some weeks ago and had the very great pleasure of hearing Claire sing live in my studio very ably supported by Dave on the guitar! I predict that they will go very very far indeed!
