Iris Dement and John Prine--In Spite of Ourselves

Another great John Prine song, but Iris Dement has a beautiful voice and is someone worth investigating more. I had a hard time chosing, so I decided to put them both up.

John Prine is one of my absolute favorites. (He looks so old in this clip.) He's kind of hard to put on a mix because: 1. I get side tracked and want to listen to more of his songs and 2. it's hard to find a John Prine song that flows into something else smoothly. This is classic Prine.
