Today is a great day on one of my favorite websites. http://www.thedownplayer.com/ gives you 10 free downloads monday through friday. Generally, I already have one or two of the songs and then I download about four of the other songs. Its great to wake up in the morning wondering what songs will be for free that day. I have really enjoyed discovering music via The Downplayer. I think you will too. Today they have one of my favorite Mumford & Sons songs, a good Sleeping at Last Song, Drake, Kid Cudi, Grizzly Bears, Vampire Weekend, Madeline Peyroux....just go look at the site and you can see for yourself. If you don't like anything, tomorrow there will be more!
Today I came across this song by Aloe Blacc on the downplayer and I really liked the beat and it reminded me of Billy Paul's "Let the Dollars Circulate". He has a good voice too.
