BOBBY - Sore Spores
Who is BOBBY? According to their bio Bobby is a spiritual guide that coerced the music out of Tom Greenberg. But as far as the band named after a ghost goes they are Tom Greenberg, Martin Zimmermann, Paolo Menuez, Julian Labat, Roby Moulton, and Molly Sarle (of Mountain Man) who lends her gorgeous vocals to the group. They all currently live in a house together in Montague, Massachusetts. When they first signed to Partisan Records in January they were very mysterious but now there is sliver more of information to grasp on to. Still all the public has heard is this one song and I'm quite curious to hear the rest.
If you really want to find out about the band they are opening for The Low Anthem for four dates starting tomorrow. If you're in Boston you can catch them at the Old South Church on Friday. Considering the beauty of the venue it should be quite the show. See more tour dates here.
